Semid Nonre began in 2018 when a group of tech industry veterans noticed a disconnect. Companies struggled to find qualified talent while motivated professionals lacked pathways into the field. Traditional education moved too slowly; bootcamps cut too many corners.
We built something different: rigorous programs taught by practitioners who still work in the industry. No recycled lectures from five years ago. No instructors who've never shipped production code. Every curriculum gets reviewed quarterly and updated to reflect what hiring managers actually need.
Eight years later, we've helped over 12,000 graduates pivot into tech roles across Singapore and beyond. Some landed at household names like Google, DBS, and Grab. Others joined scrappy startups or launched their own ventures. What unites them is the confidence that comes from genuine competence.
